Didn't Barbara Bush say a few years ago that the country has had enough Bushes for President?

I think she is right on with that sentiment!

I hope you mean the Cincinati Reds, cause no republican I know is attempting to back Jeb Bush for Pres of teh US. It's not that he isn't a much better candiddate than his brother, but there's enough Bush-fatigue for now. Why would we run such a person when we could put up someone like Rudy Guliani & a conservative southern VP, maybe even someone like JC Watts that brings greater advantage. I tell ya, republicans could care less about the legacy of the Bush family, and we are tierd of having to listen to BS from sore losers about stolen elections. We'd be happy to compromise a bit more than usual (hence Guliani) for a candidate that wins with a decisive margin of vitcory. Jeb has been an excellent gov down in Florida, and being from a battleground state is huge bonus, has appeal across party lines, and carries a good portion of the hispanic vote (standing on stage with his hispanic wife & son). Except for the attitude toward the current Pres, Jeb would be the leading candidate regardless of his relation to two presidents. It's unfortunate he'll never get teh chance.

I personally don't think he will run. He's a great governor, but I would be surprised.

It'll never happen. He does not want the job and I don't blame him.
