My friend (who is Mexican) has really long pinkie nails. I asked him if he'd been doing cocaine, and he said no, that it was a psychological thing. He said that men in Mexico grow out their pinkie nails when they are single and looking for a woman. He went even further and said that some of the men even dye their nails a different color. Is he screwing with me, or is this true? If so, why do they do this?

Purple girl nailed it. I lived in Asia for many years and it's a common practice there. A single nail is actually quite useful for cleaning your ears or scratching yourself or picking a coin off the floor and any number of other things. B

I'm Mexican and never heard of it. There are men with long pinkie nail but they say it's because they play guitar.

I grew up and have been around Mexicans all my life, the only ones I have ever seen with long nails white included were doing coke.

Totally not true, he is completely screwing u.....
i think is using for drugs, although n some points of Mexico, poor people use that cus they saw their relatives that live in the states and they are using drugs in US, so the Mexican people who see this think is cool or cosmopolitan, but not.....Mexicans don't use that...

Yes it is... and so do Vietmanese.... Have you ever went and has your nails done? The men always have a long pinkey nail... (Some say it's to snort their coke with. lol.) But that I wouldn't know.

Is he illegal? Hehe. Had to ask. Well I have seen quite a few black people with long nails. Why. No clue. I think it is gross. My boyfriend has long toenails and that's bugging the hell out of me. His finger nails need to be clipped too.
