my father goes to doha for business. it may seem like an empty place at first but they're been building a lot lately. you'll see new places. malls, hotels, centres... it's pretty expensive over there. for starters, you could go watch the anticipated doha games 2006. you can go shopping... if you have the money. you could go for a walk on the beach. they do have a pretty coastline. there's this other place. i don't know what it's called but it's a centre where you can play in the snow. they say it's very cold inside. why don't you try going here: http://www.experienceqatar.com/templates/explorer.php3?id=79
