Kelly Clarkson she's the only person who's been able to bust out of the American market and she's won a Grammy award. The rest of them are extremely mediocre.

Kelly Clarkson!!
Ruben Studdard was great on the show but the song "I'm sorry 2004"??? What the hell was that??? I thought he was supposed to become the next Luther Vandross.
Fantasia Barrino, great on the show but I felt that her single about "babies mommas" tried too hard to glorify single motherhood rather than honor it.
Carrie Underwood, sorry no opinion on her career because I despise Country Music.
Taylor Hicks, we shall wait and see (his Ford commercial rocks!! jk, lol).
p.s. on a sidenote, different show, the guy that won the spot in INXS frikkin' rocks. A worthy replacement for Michael Hutchence.

They should have stopped after the first run. Kelly is developing in to a rock chick. In another 5 years I can see her putting out a rock album comparative to Hole... just not as slutty.
