I am an italo-australian and if Italy could not win I wanted France to win. The result (excluding the red card) was my dream result - Zidane to score in his last game and Italy to win.
I have fond memories of Zidane playing for Juventus (excluding the other headbutt and red card) and never understood why that transferred him.
Not all Italians are alike just as all French players lose their temper like Zidane.

no cause if France didnt loose Italy wouldnt have won, and italy deserved to win. They didnt play dirty. Dont you consider headbuting dirty. The italian players aren't racist. Zidane said on an interveiw Materazzi never said anything racist at all.

haha im 100% italian n glad that the Italians kicked their a$$. Zidane is a loser and he lost it for the French so HA. Italians are the CHAMPIONS of the WORLD babie!! We didnt play dirty we played right, and were not racist we just beat you.

Im Italian and obviously Italy is my favorite team... they deserved to win it! And face it their talented France could never beat a hot strong team like Italy!

NO/ after all America has done to aid France , for them for them not to stand by America when we went to war with Iraj is unforgiveable. It is not a matter of wheather the war was justified but friends standing by each other in time of need. By the way, who cares about their ole soccer(football) anyway?

mmm wat skill do u need to play football (not football soccer) anyways??? lets c, be able to waddle a few metres, get jumped on by ten other guys, the game stops for 5 minutes, the process happens over and over again for the whole game!
and yeah i wish france won the cup! coz they were underdogs that really played well. also because italy play dirty football (soccer) and they beat Australia haha.
