All u need to do is strech and relax and don't eat a hour before you swim.if u eat a hour or sooner before you dwim you will puke,lolanywasy i've doneit before got in big truble by my coach at swim meet lol.

i think you should do stretches so you can stretch out your muscles before you work them in the pool
