My family and I are taking a trip to San Diego and were wondering which one is better to go to. Is it worth going to both?

They are both excellent attracitons, and if possible I would reccomend going to both. However, if you had to decide between the two I would say the Wild Animal Park.
It is usuaslly not crowded, very entertaining and great for the entire family.
The SD Zoo on the other hand is more well known and is a little more popular. Both have great exhibits and animals. So no matter where you go, You can't go wrong

Both are great. The Wild animal Park is about a 40 minute drive from down town, so if that makes a difference, maybe just stick to the Zoo. The Wild Animal Park is large, has some shows, has a tram that takes you around, as well as walk around exhibits. The Zoo is first class, possibly the best in the world and is close to downtown. It has a bus that can take you around as well as escalators, walking paths, etc. It is huge for a city zoo. Both are incredible. Probably not much help, since I'm a big fan of both. However, if you want to see animals in a more natural environment, go to the Animal Park.

Both are good, however, if you ever go to Nebraska you should check out the Omaha zoo, in my opinion it is better.
