I have to come up with a topic for an english paper. I need to find an image or images that has or has had a transforming affect on society or the world. The topic cannot be advertising or directly related to 9-11. The image does not have to be static (not moving). I appreciate the help, thank you.

A symbol/image of a gas pump???
Just a few ideas.. But the idea of checking a library's current periodical holdings is a very good idea.

Music or television. Music could have been said to have changed the world whereas television is not available to the whole world. I am sure you could find many images of music that changed the world.
