Some of the FONT collections that you can get from STAPLES are pretty good.
But here is a tip.
Only install the FONTS that you are really going to use.
When you make a document to share with someone, or to send to a printer, be sure to include that font with the file separately.
Do not try to uninstall any of the fonts that came with Windows or the software that is already installed. You will break something for sure.

Search free windows fonts in google.. Here are just a few places to find them..

www.downloadfreefonts.com
www.pcfonts.com
www.1001freefonts.com
Most fonts will come in a .zip format.. Unzip them to your desktop.. Then goto control panel.. Fonts... File.. Install New Fonts.. And browse to your desktop and add each .fon and .ttf you wish to install.
