My wife and i had a baby girl almost 6 months ago, but the process wasn't easy; I'll tell you what worked for us, but I'm not promising it will work for you!
We have been having unprotected sex for many years (early withdrawal is the only protection we used!). We then tried to have a child and after 5 months went to a fertility specialist expecting to hear we couldn't have kids. We had already been tracking when we had sex and had a special thermometer that reads down to 0.1 degree intervals. He suggested intercourse every 36 hours starting on the first morning you see a drop in temperature (you may need to track a couple months beforehand to see how much yours drops during ovulation). The position that worked for us was straight missionary position during climax. During climax, I'd stop thrusting and stay as deep as possible, and we "stayed connected" until 1-2 minutes after completion to make sure it was all out! This doesn't necessarily feel the best, but it worked for us the 1st month we tried! Best of luck, and if it doesn't work for you, remember every couple is unique. Don't be afraid to call a fertility specialist; they definitely know their 'business'!
