these brlts are fairly easy to change, there should be a rerouting diagram nder the hood, but it is always a good bet 2 look at which way it fits. there are no special tools required usually a 3\8 drive rachet or end wrench 2 pull the tensioner back while u slip the belt off , rerout the new belt and pull the tension pully back again and release, ur all done.

i know its a differnt body stile then my 01, but if you have a 3.4L you might have to remove the passenger side motor mount in order to get the belt off. one of the dumbest things i have ever seen. anyways its no big dead just put a jack under the oil pan, make sure the jack has a 2x4 or a wide piece of wood that will spread out the load. dont jack it up all the way just enough to get the mount out, take your time with this, no need to rush. once the mount is out, take your old belt off, and put you new one on, then put the mount back on. again take your time, tighten it up, then drop the jack a little, then repeat until you pull the jack out. good luck to you.

There should be a diagram somewhere under the hood of the car that shows the routing of the belt. It will fit just the way it came out.

Get one of the serpentine belt tools. It can be reconfigured to fit in tight places and gives you extra leverage. They are only about $20.
