YES YES YES YES, So many HOT I mean super hot men., Kenny Chesney,Tim Mcgraw, Keith Urban, Troy Gentry, Brad Paisley, Clay Walker, Jimmy Wayne, Billy Currington, I could go on & on.

They are very underrated, it's not fair, My country hating cousin agrees with me. She hates the music but can't deny, the men are hot.

I'm 31 years old. I've got older friends & younger friends who love country music, and would dephantly agree with me. Heck, 14y. daughter has Kenny Chesney as her background wallpaper on her cell phone. My 10y. son is a huge Tim Mcgraw fan. He wants to be like Keith Urban when he grows up, he spend all last summer working so he could buy himself a guitar. My 6y. can name the artist, just by listing to the music or voice on the raido(not all but she is pretty good at it).
So I am doing my best, to ensure the next generation apreicates country music.

Wow you people are retarded. You know in all honesty if I was as stupid as you I would just start reporting you. According to the Community Guidelines you are all breaking the rules. If you can't give a real answer then DON'T ANSWER and SIMPLY IGNORE THE QUESTION. I think rap has a silent C at the start. I don't go answer questions about rap and say rap "sux" though. I just ignore them. Anyway country isn't under-rated. There are too many POP stars in country now. Selling out for the almighty dollar. It is better to leave country quiet and keep idiots from talking about it. Oh and another thing, what about Toby Keith and the attention on him. Yeah he has pretty much left Country but you get the idea. To the one who said about the Dixie Chicks they AREN'T crossing over to pop. First off they ALREADY WERE POP, they were NEVER country. Second they are going to leave because Country kicked them out.

HI I am 58 years old and a former professional rock musician. I love classic Rock music I grew up listening to my parents country music and found that by putting the two together I could play it all. More than that I found that I could love it all. It depends on the mood I am in. If you think that country stars are under rated then perhaps you are talking to the wrong people. Know this above all else. To thyne own self be true. If it is what you love and what makes you feel good then it is what you should support in your life. Never let what others think destroy the truth that is yours. You deserve better than others prejudice.

Country music has come along way. With Stars like Shania Twain, Toby Keith, Faith Hill, Country music is actually more main stream than you might think. There have been ALOT of cross over hits Bon Jovi and the Singer from Sugarland song. There are magazines out there just for country music fans.

I think a lot of people are narrow-minded and are quick to throw judgements at country music. I know in the past I used to say country music was horrible but I had never even listened to it. Then when I met my b/f, he had me listen to some country music and I realized how wrong I was about it. Yes, I still feel that there are some really bad country songs out there but then again, there is really bad any-type-of-music out there, not just country. I think country music in general tells some really good stories and many people can relate to what they say in their songs. I'm 27 btw. But to answer your question, yes, I think country music is underrated.

I'm 13, and I never liked country. In my opinion, country is dead. Rock and that electronic stuff is in, and there's nothing really you can do. I live in Southern Alberta, and although a few kids like Country, most are like me and like Rock and Hip-Hop.

Yes, they're under-rated because only a few places like Calgary and other cities like Country anymore, and the majority of us don't.

Sorry. Nickelback's sorta Country-ish, though. You should listen to them.

Country musicians tend to be more low key than most rockers so they don't draw the media attention that others do. Now if they started having showdowns outside of CW bars they would get noticed. Enjoy the music and don't worry about supermarket rags.

i am 42 and i think that country is under-rated. i can tell you it is not a genre of music that you can fake. i believe that is why they are more careful of who they make a country star. i think that the reason that you dont see them on a lot of magazines is because they take themselves more seriously as musicians, it the same with jazz artists and blues artists. it not about the bling but more about the music.

The only reason I ever listened to country music was because of Garth Brooks. I found a lot of his music very easy to listen to and sometimes even moving.

19. I like country stars' vocals, but not their music beat. There are some country songs that I enjoy listening to, but I'm more into mainstream pop.
