you have downloaded an adware "virus". This is a hijacker that redirects your home page. If you can get to the internet search bar, try downloading free software like adaware and trojanhunter to remove. I just went through this a month ago. If this doesn't work, you can call the Geek Squad, pay them 99.00 and they can fix it for you. Good Luck.

I would quit using Internet Explorer and download Firefox. It's free and doesn't pick up anywhere near the junk that IE seems top have. Or I think you go to tools and select internet options and go to the first screen which asks you for your home page. That is probably not showing yahoo but the virus site. Some of these virus programs aren't worth a damn but they do hijack your browser. You can also Get Ad-Aware (also free) and that takes care of most hijackings. You can also get HIJackthis. It is also free. It can show you everything that is on your computer. The only bad news is hat you have to know what to delete.

Your browsers been hijacked. You need to download and run a good anti spyware program. You can download Spybot for free and I think Adware is supposed to be the best. You may be able to click control alt delete and see the program running in your task manager.
A friend of mine had a program once called so salty it would hijack you browser and download porn. Can you imagine the fun you could have sending that one around. LOL
