A 12 y/o asked: Who from New Orleans? An answerer replied: "Who from New Orleans? YOU from New Orleans. Another 12 year old who can't form a decent sentence." I think, the kid can probably text message an encyclopedia in 30 seconds. He's on summer vacation and realizes that this is a computer forum. As such he slacked off on the grammar. Why not just answer his question and let the grammar slide. After all, it's not like we're doing PhD dissertations here. Who do you agree with?

L : very nice, but there aren't enough characters to work with to ask a question in that format. Thanks for the translation.

Right, well, first off, there are a lot of people who seem to have keyboard malfunctions and aren't able to type correctly, but nonetheless, we may all somewhat understand what people are *trying* to say with their shortspeak, but don't we all prefer reading some intelligent text once in a while? Yes, it is not a PhD dissertation, but you know, it's not that hard to type correctly, and it makes it much easier on the eyes. No one, especially a twelve year old searching a Yahoo! forum asking who is from New Orleans, is *that* busy that he cannot add another "is" in the question. Rude? Maybe. Truthful? Definitely.
