However good looking she is, she'd have to be pretty cool to make me want to stick around in a long distance relationship. They just plain hurt too much.

Now, if you're not talking relationship, say just going out to dinner every couple of months, then there should be no problem. However, in a situation like that, I don't know if I'd rather date or be friends.

I would not date a model at all. The temptation is too great for her to cheat on me with some one else. I like having some one around and don't like any relationship with too many loop holes and gaps between us.
