The question really should be, "What can't I major in?" because there are tons of humanities degrees being offered. Of course, every college differs, but in general, the humanities include English (which typically branches off into creative writing (fiction or nonfiction), literature, or composition and rhetoric), theatre, cultural studies (such as African studies or African American studies or Latin studies or Latin American studies), history (which is nearly endless!). Those are just to name a few.

Really, the best answer would be to look at the course offerings at the colleges that you are considering. Some even offer liberal arts degrees, which essentially means that you would be a jack of all trades (but master of none). Many colleges and universities allow students to create a major that makes use of a variety of disciplines (majors). Really, when it comes to the humanities, you are bound mostly by your imagination.
