Does anyone know a song by a country band about a little boy that gets to play in a ballgame?

This is supposedly based on a true story and a country band wrote a song about it. Does anyone know what song I'm thinking of? It may not have been released as a single, and for some reason I'm thinking it was by Rascal Flatts.

I think your talking about "The Greatest" by Kenny Rogers. I am a HUGE Rascal Flatts fan and I dont recall a song like that.
