I am about to buy a pygmy goat and have everything set and money saved but..........(here it comes).....I need a goat. Any ideas where to get one cheep or less? I live in central texas.

many auctions you can find them for $10-30. Don't go on just cheap though.

We had pygmy goats for a while, named Scratch and Sniff. They were awful. Ate a bicycle seat, no joke. We had a heck of a time keeping them fenced in. Eventually we gave them away and I think eventually they ended up on someone's dinner table.
We got ours by looking in the local free paper. I thnk I paid $40 or $50 for the pair. Here it is called The Merchandiser, but other places it is The Pennysaver. You probably have something like it where you live. Check there.

Newspapers, Auctions, Goat Farmers, or you could check out a rescue near you. I think the rescue is the best thing to do. Hope this helps.

Goats like quite a lot something. They love quite a lot all end result and greens, yet reduce them up into bites. additionally they love horse treats, grass, grain, corn etc etc. they are going to over eat inspite of the actuality that, so do not over feed them!

it don't matter about pygmy or not, go to a livestock auction. they all gots *****d up snayecky eyes any how.
