im 11 and i've wanted to be a singer since i was pretty much a baby.
i love to sing and im good at it.
im always looking for ways for me to become a singer but i never find a way.
any ideas?

find your range, then your tessitura, get a voice teacher to help you with this.

If you want to be a good singer, practice classical music. This will improve your tone and range allowing you to sing all styles of music much better. If you want to be famous, strip and shake. Most people who are famous for "singing" can't sing worth any thing. They sing what they can, then have someone else sing the other parts of the song and use a computer to trick people into thinking it is the same voice. Don't take the second rout. Most of those people get rich then after a few years, lose it all. Learn the classical stuff.

1.) Get experience. Start small by offering to entertain at family parties. Enter talent contests. Check with local parks to see if they need someone to sing the national anthem or if you can do a free concert to get your name out there. Bring posters so people know who you are and how to get a hold of you if they need a singer.
2.) Get a talent manager. They usually work with a percentage of what you earn but make sure a lawyer reads the contract.
3.) Go to auditions. Get involved in community musicals. Go to every audition within 1 hour of your home. By the time you are 16, you may be ready for American Idol!
4.) Practice. Practice. Practice. It might drive your family nuts but it is important to keep your vocal cords in shape so you don't end up with voice nodules from overuse. Get a voice coach!
5.) Start your mySpace page and put sample music on it of you singing.

I'm 12 nd I wanna become a singer 2. I've always dreamed of it. I don't know if ur in middle school yet or not, but I signed up 4 chorus, nd my mom promised 2 give me singing lessons. Any oppurtunity u get 4 singing, take it no matter what it is! that's my advice 4 u. I really hope u do become a singer. Good Luck!

I've been the singer in several bands, and I highly recommend learning to play the guitar. not only will this make you a better musician over-all, but the old musical advise "if you can sing it, you can play it" will also help out.

Just sing as much as you can and get attention. You can try to find someone with a recording studio and make a CD and then find a record company. Good luck!

go to your local cafe, bookstore, what have you and find out if they have and open mic nite. do this a few times and then when you have the confidence go to a bar/lounge and try to sing there, and then maybe just maybe you'll get a shot.
or hope that your daddy owns the hilton hotel chain, and then you can get a record deal even if you dont have a voice

Go to a vocal coach and learn breath technique now so you don't have to do it later. It is much harder once you have "fallen in love" with the way you sound to get into good habits that will prevent nodes on your vocal chords.
