I really like the darker version of Batman.
He's human, can hurt, bleed, die.
He's not noble. In fact, he's not all that likable a person.
But, he feels somewhat real. It's the fact that I can imagine him that makes him... more.

I would have to say Batman. The reason being that he is a real man. No super powers at all. Just a nice hefty bankroll and the brain to use it honorably. Batman isn't only a fighter, but a detective. He has more brawn than your average man, but not because he hails from another planet. It's because he trains hard and devotes his life to fighting crime. While other heroes are worried about this chick or that elderly old aunt, Batman has no friends but those who are with him in his cause. He IS the Hero. Batman is Batman. Bruce Wayne is just a disguise.

Spiderman because under the mask he is the same nerdy at times scientist Peter Parker and sacrifices alot to help other people, his personality is the same as both alter ego's unlike some superhero's.

I second the answer of whoever said doctors, nurses, police, EMTs, etc.
I kinda liked Howard the Duck (the comic, not the movie), but he wasn't really a superhero.
I'd have to say Batman in "The Dark Knight Returns".
