It isn't gonna happen.
The likelihood of a Republican replacing Bush is very minimal, but if a Democrat takes over, it sure isn't gonna be Hillary. There are two reasons for this.
The first reason is that she cannot form a coalition because the Democrats do not have a centralized power base from which to draw. Therefore, there are too many fragmented Democrats from whence she would get NO support.
The second reason is that her "It Takes a Village" message backfired so badly in Wenatchee, Washington; Waco, Texas; and Manhattan Beach, California that she was born to lose after that.
She moved to New York because people still buy that baloney there, but the rest of the country does not.
So, it isn't gonna happen.
What the Democratic Party needs to do is recruit someone like Joe Lieberman or Diane Feinstein or even Russ Feingold who are way to middle of the road for the wacky poo politics of Hillary Clinton aka Rosie O'Donnell.

When Hillary Clinton takes the oath of office in January of 2009, some of us will be angry and jealous (the Neo-Cons), but for the most part, we will have a return to legitimacy of our presidency! And that is saying nothing about how wonderfully refreshing it will be to have a woman of substance and more importantly, a person of INTELLIGENCE in the highest office in our land!! Think about it--this country has been in a severe malaise and depression for the past six years, for reasons that are incomprehensible to a free and Constitutionally run democracy, the "reign" of King George the Last!! Deep beneath their ignorant exteriors, even the Fascist Neo-Cons will be breathing sighs of relief that no one of Bush's ilk can EVER be around again to embarrass this nation, and this world EVER AGAIN!! We have been fooled, lied to, had our money funnelled into the hands of the wealthy and non-taxpaying CEO's, had the opinion of the ENTIRE WORLD turned against us, and have been cheated out of some of our all-too-precious freedoms, most notably the press, speech, and religion! I am a practical person, and I KNOW about the fierce opposition and dirty tricks that the Neo-Cons will play to try and pull the wool over our eyes about Hillary Clinton! But I also know that if we stand tall and hold to our fundamental Progressive freedoms and foundational beliefs, we can ALL celebrate in 2008/2009! I guarantee that the filthy rich will not be in a celebratory mood, but the return of the middle class is something we can ALL get behind!!!

One day a fourth-grade teacher asked the children what their fathers
did
for
a living. All the typical answers came up -fireman, mechanic,
businessman,
salesman, doctor, lawyer, and so forth.
But little Johnny was being uncharacteristically quiet, so when the
teacher
prodded him about his father, he replied:
"My father's an exotic dancer in a gay cabaret and takes off his clothes
in
front of other men and they put money in his underwear. Sometimes, if
the
offer is really good, he will go home with some guy and make love with him
for money."
The teacher, obviously shaken by this statement, hurriedly sent the other
children to work on some exercises and then took little Johnny aside to
ask
him, "Is that really true about your father?"
"No," the boy said, "He works for the Democratic National Committee and is
helping to secure the Nomination of Hillary Clinton in 2008, but I was too
embarrassed to say that in front of the other kids."

Why should Hillary, or any Democrat for that matter, have to clean up the mess that is being made with the current Bush Administration? You know the deal will be that the Republicans will just blame all the problems on HER the Minute she takes the oath!

Then the question as to whether a presidential election can be fixed or not is answered because there is NO WAY that she can carry enough of the population to win. Sorry, but she pisses off too many people and scares too many others.
Hey, that's an idea... "Vote for Hillary because it will PROVE Bush stole the last election!"

Ha!! That's a big IF. She won't be president. Her Lib base is extremely anti-war. She voted for the war, and swore that as far back as intel from her husband's administration that Saddam had WMD, Al-Qaeda ties... Now, she's bashing the war in Iraq, and playing dumb. Also, this woman couldn't even take care of her home, and her husband! Do you honestly think America is going to trust her to run the country? Not hardly.
The biggie is her war flip flop. It'll bite her in her wide fanny come election time. Hide, and watch.
"In the four years since the inspectors left, intelligence reports show that Saddam Hussein has worked to rebuild his chemical and biological weapons stock, his missile delivery capability, and his nuclear program. He has also given aid, comfort, and sanctuary to terrorists, including al Qaeda members ... It is clear, however, that if left unchecked, Saddam Hussein will continue to increase his capacity to wage biological and chemical warfare, and will keep trying to develop nuclear weapons."
- Sen. Hillary Clinton (D, NY), Oct 10, 2002

let you and me think . the problem with USA are due to its being an imperial power. if Hillary becomes the president, US will remain the world's leading capitalist. don't you see there will be no differences? she will automatically be compelled to the same path by the needs of US economy and sustainances! automatically therefore the name Bush will just give way to Hillary but the same hate, feelings and so on; world over!

Doubt much will change. The USA is still a very right wing/ conservative nation, and I'm not implying thats a bad thing. Most of the world is too left wing at the moment.
