Well if a few dead and captured soldiers is enough reason for Israel to bomb Lebanon, then why doesn't Canada bomb Israel for killing a few of it's citizens?

In fact actually Canada is part of NATO. If one member is attacked it's an attack on all members. I can't wait to see NATO bombs falling on Tel Aviv.

Wow you really did check out the facts before posting your so called "question". You did an excellent job of fact checking. I really admire it.

First it was the kidnapping of two Israeli soilders which was unprovoked and definetly an act of war. Then it was the shelling of Israeli cities. You see a country tends to get ticked off when people are firing rockets into it.

Here's the difference in morality: Israel is targetting building where Hezbollah is hiding in. Happens to also be where a family lives too. So Israel bombs where the Hezbellah terrorists are hiding. Israel is targetting the terrorists not the family. How can I back that up? Listen to the Israelies when they speak on T.V. or catch a quote of them in any news article they explain exactly what they are doing and why.

As for inacting NATO, that would be if Israel would BOMB Canada's cities, just like Hezbollah is BOMBING Israeli cities. Post that little factoid into your question.

I feel for the families of those Canadians that were killed and sorry that they died. However, they are dead because the Hezbollah decided to startup with Israel and found themselves out gunned. Once the fighting started everyone knew it was time to get out of harms way. Some did some didn't. If anything Canada and NATO should be equally upset with the Hezbollah and anyone that supports them. Tel Aviv isn't were the bombs should fall. They should continually fall on Hezbollah strongholds for starting this mess. Keep waiting!!! It ain't going to happen!!!

Not really funny.
For some reason, 50,000 Canadians were stranded in Lebanon. When you visit a country that has a military/political presence like Hezbollah, it isn't really surprising when war breaks out.
It's tragic that people have been killed and stranded there, and I hope not another single person dies as a result of this stupid war, but I am puzzled as to why such a huge percentage of Canadians, whose population is only around 32 million, are there. It works out to around 1 in every 640 Canadians was in Lebanon this month. What in the world is going on?
