I am surprised no one answered you, yet. Of course, don't die is an obvious answer. If you're worried about your heirs paying estate taxes, buy lots and lots of life insurance. If your married, you want a second to die policy. If you're not married, you could either get married and buy a second to die life policy, or stay single and buy a "normal" single life policy. Second to die is "best," as far as your life insurance options go because it has a relatively low cost of insurance (mortality is based upon two lives) and you can make an irrevocable trust the owner, thus escaping the federal three year look back rule.
