Can John Cena trascend his popluarity outside of wrestling?

I dont think Cena is even close to tha rock and far away from hulk hogan. they were legends and John Cena has to achieve way more in his career to even get close to them.

John Cena is very popular with the fans. Even though he can't wrestle. But will never transcend beyond the popularity of The Rock, and nobody will EVER transcend beyond the popularity that Hulk Hogan had.

The Rock was a darling of the crowd, and so is John Cena, so he is more like th rock. However, he should get more time in wrestling to get to be compared to Hulk Hogan...but he is on his way up there.

I believe that he's already doing that right now but the difference is than The Rock going in to the movie and never coming back. Cena will become more famous but won't leave the ring otherwise.

Cena is the new Rock. Both of them got really over as 'cool heels'. But then they changed, started believing their own hype, and tried to remake themselves as heroes-which is why fans started to hate them, imho.
If Cena does crappy WWE-produced films, he won't get very far.

john cena is the new hogan! he can beat anyone any time any where! hogan is a old man he cant beat john cena!! if his life was on the line!

rock definately. as far as popularity outside of wrestling goes i think the marines gonna be great and his album is good too.
