I first got mine at 11. For about 3 years straight, I got really bad cramps. And I have mine for the full 7 days. After 2 years when I was in 7th grade, I threw up in class once because they were so bad and made me dizzy and nauseous. Now I'm 15 and the cramps aren't as bad since I drink some Chinese herbal medicine. Do NOT eat/drink cold stuff so ice cream, cold water, etc. is out. It doesn't allow the blood to flow as easily so it hurts more that way. Usually I'm a week or two late. Only twice have I ever been on time. My friend got hers about the same time as me. She had it for a year then it disappeared the next year. Now she's regular again.

Once in a blue moon, my back will start to hurt really bad. I'll get a bad stomach ache and my thighs and abdominal area will become sore.
