I wonder that myself. I know they have no problem taking your money in there casinos. But to me the idea of a Reservation is crazy in the first place. Ok I think that if they need a Reservation they should be living in tents and building casinos. Can they grow pot on one ? I think that some may still use cactus as a drug , but not sure about it "Peyote"

Indian reservations are generally considered sovereign, much the same way individual states are.

Federal law applies, including specific federal laws that only apply on reservations. State laws do not apply, because the reservations are not part of the state. Just like one state's laws do not apply in neighboring states.

Each reservation also has appropriate Tribal laws, comparable to state and/or county laws. These laws are applicable within the tribal reservations, just like state and county laws are applicable within the state or county.

Same with tribal police forces and tribal courts.

My understanding is that it falls under Tribal law, so don't be so quick there bucko to run off and break the law on the Reservation. You may not like the results.
