awfull small, i have seen them and they are truly tiny, about the size of a small pea,not more than 1/4 inch , I could have put all three of them on my thumb nail, the nest was just a little round pile of moss on a spruce branch, I almost put my hand on it but my niece asked "what is that" just in time.
this is true. it was not high up in the tree and I was trying to teach her how to climb trees, and anything else. she has grown into a nature freak.

I saw one once when I was a little girl. It was smaller than the tip of my little finger.
Hummingbirds are pretty cool.
