shouldnt you have thought about this before having sex? Its all going to depend on if you have any difficulties during your pregnancy, having the baby alone could cost you around $25,000 or alot more. So I hope you have insurance. A pkg of diapers can cost you $10 and you could go through about one pkg a week. Baby formula isnt cheap. Unless of course you plan on going on welfare and WE pay for your baby for you. you are going to need all the supplies for a baby. Crib, high chair, car seats, sleepers, blankets. clothes, even if you get all this stuff used its going to be several hundred dollars. So I hope you have a couple $1000 put back just to buy the things you will need before the baby even gets here. You are talking about both of you getting jobs.. Have you thought about who is going to watch the baby while you work? How much a babysitter cost? Oh its possible on minimum wage, but you must not be planning on ever doing anything else, cause you wont have the money. I hope your not pregnant and you think about all this before you have sex again.

No, it is not possible on minimum wage (at least not to live any kind of life). A child will cost anywhere from $ 180,000- $ 250,000 the first 21 years of life. Just having the child in a hospital with a doctor delivering can cost upwards of $ 10,000.00 without complications. You also will have extreme difficulty in raising a child and working. A baby is TOTALLY dependent on you. That's TOTALLY.

Now this doesn't count the cost of maturing too rapidly, having no experience with children, the pressures of finances (and they will be astounding), the pressures of putting up with each other (becuase you are obviously not married and are probably VERY young), and putting up with the guilt that will be lavished on you by others ("friends", family, and society).

To raise a child you need:
1. emotional maturity
2.psychological stability
3. a strong financial resource or resources
4. the ability to function at any hour of the day (to take care of a newborn)
5. a decent place to live
6. supplies for the baby (forget about you the baby comes first)
7. a decent source of transportation (for taking the baby to the pediatrician)
8. day care (if you are going to work and day care in Colorado is about $ 145.00/wk for an infant)
9. help from your family
10. a lot of prayer
11. a great paying job
12. tons and tons of patience (you'll need it)

If you're not pregnant---STOP HAVING SEX and QUIT BEING STUPID!!!

It is going to cost you about $15,000 a year for the first 4 years so that's $60,000. Once they start school that number goes up to about $25,000 a year and that will stay the same for about another 8 years until it's a teenager, then the price get outrageous depending on what their personality is like, so basically, get a really great job now or expect to live with your mommy and daddy for a few years and work your a$$ off at McDonalds while he pumps gas or bags groceries or both.

you shouldn't be making minimum wage permanently, that is more like a starting wage or a training wage, you should be able to work your way up with raises regularly, or find a job that starts out higher than minimum wage and goes up, most jobs don't pay minimum wage.

It's possible but just barely. Babies cost a whole lot of money. I'm a stay-at-home mom right now. I'm going back to college. But my husband makes $17.35 an hour and that's pretty good money but sometimes it seems like that's not even enough. You will be struggling tremendously.

you are definitely going to need your parents help with hospital bills and stuff but minimum wage may not be enough or it will but very difficult. ask for a loan from your parents that you will pay back when you have enough.

There are lots of responsibilities to have a baby. 8 - 12 months of age has a lot to do too. How about asking your mom or dad for advice. Try not to keep it a secret, ask someone who has had experience.

it is possible but very difficult. I would suggest that you put the baby up for adoption to a family who can actually provide better for the baby, you two are just too young
