it stays on for about 10 seconds and then shuts off,how di i fix this?

You're going to have to replace the timer. This just pulls from the dash and you hook up the new one (the timer is the switch). The challenge is going to be finding one for a seventeen year old car. Try the salvage yards or car-part.com, they can hook you up. Hope this helps.

the defrosters work on a timer so the timer may be malfunctioning check your fuses first if that doesnt work try looking in your manual it should tell you where to go from there. make sure the manual is a complete tear down and rebuild youll get alot more info

its a timer/relay it dont have to be for a corisca it can be a beretta, cavalier and you should try a auto zone or maybe a salvage yard but i think most gm models are interchangable.
