Oh yeah! i'm a big fan. Currently, one of my favorite works is The Seasons by Vivaldi. Also, in instrumental, is The Planets by Holst.
Mostly, though, my heart belongs to Mozart. I am in lust with his Requiem. But that's just me.
Whenever anyone makes fun of you for your likes, just tell them that at least you like something OTHER than what society tells you to like and that makes you an individual. And being an individual makes the world go round. or any variant thereof
(*I'm off my soapbox now*)
Stand your ground honey!!

Classical music isn't exactly "cool," but that's awesome that you don't care what your friends think and do what you like.
Anyway, yeah, classical stuff is awesome, but it can't hold the attention span of a lot of people used to listening to 3 minute songs that all sound pretty much the same.
About song names, I assume you know the big ones like Beetoven and Bach and all. I personally love Sympathy No. 6- Pathetique by Tchaikovsky, and Piano Concerto No. 1 by him as well. Nothing tops The Four Seasons by Vivaldi.
Other than classical though, you should try out old school jazz like miles davis and duke ellington; phenomenal intrumental stuff.

The nice thing about music is that it's fine to have different tastes in it, and enjoy whatever types you happen to like. Go ahead and let your own tastes run free and listen to what pleases YOU, not somebody else.
Hmmm...for selections, I'd pick the following to start off with, and then you "spread your wings" and go from there to experiment more:
1. Beethoven's 6th Symphony, the "Pastorale"
2. Stravinsky's "The Firebird Suite"
3. Debussy's "Afternoon of a Fawn"
4. Tchaikovsky's "1812 Overture"
5. Gustav Holst's "The Planets"
Good luck, and Happy Listening!

I prefer rock and rap, but I realized when I started playing the piano that some classical music can be okay. I'd never actually listen to a classical CD though, because I always go for music with a good, strong beat.

You have what many will cal an acquired taste. That is a good thing. Listen to Ludwig Van Beethoven, Mosart, and such.Classical is one of the most dificult forms of music to learn so definately study. If you want osme fun start listening to some bluegrass as well. A lot of it variations of classical.

No. My cousin is 15 and is exactly the same way. She listens to it all the time and doesn't seem to care about what other people listen too. As for me, I generally prefer rock, but some classical is ok.

I like movie scores. I'm not sure how well that stands up, but at least you are not alone. I have a few friends that are music majors. And though they have no lives because their schedules suck, they like classical music.
