because the average persons life is boring, so they try to live vicariously through celebs

cuz we love them! take it from me. i love Billie Joe Armstrong from the band green day. i go on websites and find info on him and see what he has been up to. i do this cuz i am OBSESSED! but there are different obsessiveness. i like Billie as a real person. not cuz he is a mega punk rock legend but a real person who has feelings like anyone else. some people are obsessed with the celebrities cuz they are famous. sure that's how i found out about Billie Joe Armstrong but i like him for who he is. not cuz he has lots of money. i would fall in love with him all over again if he was either in my school or if i just met him somewhere. i would still be obsessed if he didn't have any money or fame. that is my kind of obsessiveness. some people know exactly what i am saying.

who says, not everybody obsessed of celebrities. Admiring them maybe yes, because they are always in the news. If you are in the news the whole year, you could become a celebrities also. Who want to be obsessed with a skeleton models who hardly eat just to fulfilled others requirement. Out of mind!

Because people have nothing better to do. Instead of just watching famous people make money, stop wasting your time and start your own business. You are never going to make any money looking at some blonde dumb *** play with her hair on TV.

Well it depends,
The poor: because they want to see how the rich& famous spend irrationally their money.
The rich: they want to look, act, have and do whatever these people do and they got the money for it.
The fat: they want to see how a skinny body of an anorexic girl looks like.
The losers: want to see how a successful person’s life is.

Cool to see the lives of the rich & famous & imagine what you would do with all that money. Aaah Possibilities.
Also relieving to see that even with all the money & fame, that most of them have the same problems as us. Cheating spouses, cellulite, crazy relatives.
Proof that money DOESN'T buy happiness.

because their own lives are empty of scandal, and lack imagination. they use celebrities as way of filling a void. especially the media. we have to start asking ourselves if we are really that dull, that we have to pry into the lives of others to get our kicks???
