Offer to clean up someones yard or backyard (i.e., pulling weeks, or manicuring the bushes and shrubs). Offer to walk some dogs or do some babysitting. Tell the people you're a college student making your own way, and it would be helpful if you could make some extra money on the side to buy [blank] (y'know, clothes or books for school, a laptop) have a goal in mind to tell your patrons. Good luck!!!

Get a job that pays commission such as sales. You can do telesales. That way, you don't have to depend on per hour wages, but really, if you have the drive, you can make as much as you want. If you have the desire to learn some basic sales skills and can relate to people on a basic level, like you're they're friend, you can make LOTS of money!! Check it out. My husband is in sales and is very successful and his clients are extremely loyal, because he is not just their sales rep, they perceive him as their friend!

are you eligible for work study jobs? sometimes the on-campus jobs pay more than minimum wage. check to see if there are any market research call centers in your area. you know the people who call to do surveys or conduct polls. sometimes they pay more than minimum wage. also, check your school bulletin boards or newspaper. often times the psychology department is looking for people to participate in studies. some studies don't require a lot of work and some pay okay money. good luck.
