But there are some people who are genuinely concerned about other people's welfare, whether they know them well or not. So, if a nosy person bothers you, try to figure out why they are nosy. I really, really, really love answering questions.

I am an absolute sucker for surveys. If there is a pyschological condition characterized by a perpetual willingness for answering questions, i would be a like pathological case. If there is a ten syllable German word for "deriving too much joy from being interrogated", my grandfather would point at me with his thumb and say it.

I even get a kick out of being interrogated by rude people--like this taxi driver who was asking me all kinds of not-so-well phrased questions in a brusque accent a couple weeks ago.

Yes! I think they should mind their own business. I have a few nosy neighbors and they are always gossipping and telling other people's business and it's extremely annoying.

Maybe they just care about you. Care enough to ask 5000 questions. I sometimes don't go places because I know I'll be asked the same question many times over and I'm tired of it.

Yes. I don't stick my nose in anybody else's business. A guy I work with has to read everything on the printer or fax machine even if it's not for him. Drives me nuts.
