When you were pregnant were your "seasonal allergies" worse?

Or did you just all of a sudden get seasonal allergies when you became pregnant?

Did your allergies get worse if you all ready had them. Did you notice that you were more sensitive to certain things?

Absolutely. I've been sick about 3 or 4 times during my pregnancy so far.

See, when you're pregnant you're immune system weakens itself so that your body doesn't see the baby as something to attack, that causes you to be more susceptible to any germs or viruses, and also to any allergens.

So yes, it'll make you more sensitive to pollen and other allergens when you're pregnant. Usually, Benedryl is safe to take, but check with your doctor first.

i normally have seasonal allergies but the ENTIRE TIME i was pregnant i suffered horribly with sneezing and a runny nose. It was awful!

every th ing changes when your perego and each pregnacy is diferent my first i was fine till i hit 71/2 months then i was so tired i couldnt move this one im now 4 months and i cant stop sleeping and eating

Yes, they were. Though it is normal because your body is creating excess mucus... yuck...
