It's "best of available options" problem.
This country is founded on good ideals, that tend to work most of the time. Like every other civilized country, it has its problems. Some the same as other countries, some different.
The problem I have with the current US administration is the same problem I have with anyone who abuses power and ignores their own rules. Under the belief system I was originally raised, abuse of power (especially by elected officials) is the most grievous sin, equivalent to rape. I watch the current administration raping this country every day. And that annoys me, because this country doesn't deserve to be mistreated like that.
I've spent a little bit of time in other countries, and life is generally happy and smooth there, when no other problems arise. But that's easy. Anything can be happy and stable when there is no conflict or problems.
The challenge comes with how a country handles adversity. Both internal conflict among its citizens, and war against nations. So far, the past decade or so, this country hasn't been doing too good a job of handing its problems. I hope for everyone's sake, US citizens stand up and demand a change.
This country was founded on great ideals, and by great patriots. It's just a question now of whether it will live up to them, or betray them.

I've travelled to those other countries. They have the same types of problems. Some are better, some are worse. It depends on what you want to live with. Usually, they are better in some ways, worse in others, and it ends up being a trade off. Since I'm used to the issues here already, why move? It would only be an advantage to move if the other one had better climate. After all, you could always just go visit.

Feel like they are taking our freedoms away? They ARE taking our freedoms away.
We have a president who refers to the Constitution as "Just a piece of paper"!!
If it is so Democratic, which it isn't by definition, how does a person who loses an election become president??
I think that a lot of people would rather be somewhere else, especially those who have to deal with "We can screw you, but aren't you happy we did!
Corporations and the rich pay little, if any taxes, especially the oil industry, while those who can least afford it do! Congress belongs to corporations, not the people.
This country for the past generation or so think of themselves only and want instant gratification! We raised a bunch of retards who base all of their decisions based on what is good for them!

I am utterly grateful to be in the United States and to have the rights and liberties that I hold as an essential part of my life. I would not ever trade anything to live anywhere else.
