i saw that film also
but practically its impossible (till now)

why we can't make somebody invisible [but very small particles (like viruses) we can't see them by our ordinary eye (they r INVISIBLE to us)] ??

its all about the wave length of the light ray & properties of light (reflection, refraction, interference & diffraction)
virus has extremely small dimensions that light ray can bend around it so the light doesn't reflect on it (as if this virus doesn't exist) so we can't see it by our ordinary eye, but i case of human the wave length of the light ray can't bend around our body (we r too big) so light reflects on our bodies so we can be seen

the impossibility for making somebody invisible is to make the light ray bend around him [to make this person's dimensions is less than wave length of light ray so light ray can bend around him (like viruses) & this is impossible till now]

i hope u got ur point from my explanation

Yes there could be a way. Let me explain you. How is anybody able to see anything. Simple answer is that, when light strikes off an opaque body and gets to your eyes you can see the object. Same reason why you can see through glass, because the light instead of bouncing back goes right through it. The key is the density of the material whose properties are to absorb light or let it pass through. If at any time a chemical is made which can basic ally change the properties of our bodies like the density to affect the opacity, then yes anyone could invisible.

The invisible technology has gaining attention. Japan is working on it and probably other advance countries starts working on it. I remember Japan has a simple prototype working on invisible cloak. The idea is the cloak will reflex the image of the surrounding thus make the person wearing it invisible.

Not invisible in the sense of the word, but it is possible to stop others from "seeing" you. Its called "The Glamour" and it can be learned by most people.

Yes, I read in a news article that they were planning to make a special cloak, like Harry Potter's, that would some how reflect light in a way giving off the illusion that there is nothing there.
