I didn't give any support for or against either side. And I do think that if the violence erupts and people leave on their own (I would have), they might have been labeled 'alarmists' if nothing were to happen. Also, there are too many students at the Beirut American University (just for the summer) for my feeling good about the surprise attack. This all erupted far too quickly and after all the years of violence, this seems almost like loose cannons were making decisions to attack.

The lives of it's two soldiers and it's desire to inflict punishement on the Lebanese are far more imprtant than the safety and well being of 25,000 Americans

Telling 25,000 Americans to get out of Lebanon would just be like telling the Hezbollah to take cover or take precautions because they are going to drop some bombs.

DO u really think that Israel care about the Americans or anyone else
keep in mind Israel can never be trusted as ally,check their history and u will get what i mean

Because Israel is operating in the real world, not the land of rainbows and butterfly kisses that many in denial wish were the case......

The better question is why the us government only warned 15 people who where over there it was going to start.
