I don't think the Canadians were specifically targeted by the U.S. subsidized Israeli terrorists.

While I don't know of any specific reason why Israel would kill Canadians, I've learned to distrust their habitual "It was an accident" explanation. Israel has told too many lies of that kind to ever receive any credit for truth telling about the people it kills.
When Israel attacked the USS Liberty in 1967, Israel said it was an accident. It wasn't. They tried to sink an American ship, but they couldn't sink it fast enough and the US Sixth Fleet caught them at it.
When Israel shelled the UNIFIL refugee camp in Qana during the previous invasion of Lebanon, Israel said it was an accident. It wasn't. A careful study by a Dutch officer working for the UN proved that the shelling deliberately targeted the UN refugee camp and murdered more than 100 Arab civilians, including women, children and babies. (There's a famous photo of a UN soldier handing a decapitated baby to another soldier to put into a body bag.)
When Israel fired a missile to destroy an ambulance full of children, also in Lebanon, Israel said it was an accident because the ambulance wasn't marked. This is also a lie. The ambulance was marked with the red crescent, and it had flashing lights on top.
When an IDF soldier murdered Rachel Corrie by squashing her with a bulldozer in Gaza, Israel said it was an accident. It wasn't. The soldier could see the young woman in front of his bulldozer, and not only did he run over her once, he backed back over her again just to make sure she was fatally injured.
So when I hear the Israelis say "It was an accident" after they kill some innocent people, I no longer believe them. Maybe once in a long while they are telling the truth, but most of the time, I think, they are lying.

Thank you for information. I am Canadian and I did not know that our citizens were killed today. I don't think the Israelis hate us, but I think what they did to Lebanon and foreign citizens was foolish.
To bomb all the airport and all the bridges and not provide one escape route. Surely, the Israelis could have left one route open that could have manned themselves to ensure that the Hezbollah did not flee.
I can understand how mad you must feel that Lebanon is being destroyed agained after they just rebuilt it. Such a waste. I don't undertand how Hezbollah was allowed in such a beautiful country. Canadians don't understand the politics in Lebanon (at least I don't)

Are you just trolling for a fight? Or did you simply not think this through before posting?
Eight Canadians were killed because they happened to be next to a terrorist militant group that was attacked. It's a tragedy, like all civilian casualties during war.
But I cannot honestly imagine anyone being irrational enough to think that the Canadians were deliberately targeted. Please tell me it's not so.

why do you seem to hate israelis?
Also, I don't think it's Israel, or the Middle East for that matter, that hates the Western world, its the terrorist groups who feel that the West has ruined their way of life.

Don't be specious. The eight Canadian citizens who were killed were never targets of the Israelis. They were...God help them...innocent bystanders.
Just like most of the rest of the world.

Because Canada has refused to help Israel in their fight against Islam. Also, Canada allows Muslim people to immigrate much more freely than other nations.
