gees, some people are so rude on here. since you just got it pierced yesterday, the hole may have closed back up, so you may want to go talk to the people that pierced it, they will know if the hole is closed and if it is, when you can re-pierce it, they may even do it for free. and as for all those people lashing out at you for piercing her ears, dont listen to them, pierced ears on little girls looks adorable, and if she grows up and doesnt like it, she doesnt have to wear earrings.

I got my daughters ears pierced when she was 3 months old..she cried for 2 seconds and that was it and will never remember it ever!! If you wait until they are begging at 4 or 5 years old and then do it,..it will hurt and they will scream and probably be mad at you so why not do it when they are babies. if you dont believe in that thats wonderful too but leave this poor mom alone! Also the advantage to having them done young is that my daughter is now 3 and a half and she never bothers/plays with/notices her earrings. she is used to them. as long as you are responsible enuff to clean them and take care of them...just clean the ear really well with some soap and water..have someone hold her head still and put the earring back in..try some orajel if u want..she'll be mad but more so because you're trying to hold her still (babies hate to be confined) not because it necessarily hurts!! she'll get over it in about 30 seconds and her hole wont close just be more careful in the future! If it is too late and its closed already..wait 6 weeks and then redo it if you'd like. no biggie.. :)

Why are you getting a baby's ear pierced? Of course she won't let you put it back in because it HURTS. Just wait until she's older and can decide for herself if she wants here ears pierced. Ten would be a reasonable age.

Even though the earrings look centered now, as your child grows, you will realize the hole is very close to the edge of the ear lobe. Earrings will look silly a crooked, and heavier ones may even tear the lobe.

Take them both out and wait till she's much older to try again. You risk creating scar tissue and funny-looking earlobes, which is what happened to my friend's daughter. She also tore one earlobe, for the above reason. Maybe the earring falling out was you getting a second chance to wait.

You should not have done it in the first place. The fact that it already got pulled out should tell you it was a bad idea. Not to mention, babies can develope allergies to gold and silver and whatever else you can use to put into those cute little ears. Why do you have to do that to a little baby? How about letting her grow up and decide for herself that she wants them pierced? Or anything else, for that matter.

I am against infant ear piercing for this very reason. It shouldn't have gotten caught and pulled out. It hurt and that's why she wouldnt' let it get back in. Clean them, let them heal, and do it at an older age.

It is normal in some culture to pierce a baby girl ears. It is some sort of tradition for them.

Maybe you can rub in some ointment to prevent infection, and just remove the earrings for a while.

This is the reason my daughter will not get her ears pierced until she at least 12 years old!!!!!!

Wait until she goes to sleep and try to put the earring back in.
