You can babysit (if you are mature and ready for it), do yard work or cleaning for people, and many agricultural jobs are open to you (like berry picking and such). Washing cars and pet sitting for neighbors on vacation are good, too. Even dog-walking for the elderly is a great way to pick up a couple bucks (just make sure they can afford it...it's also a way to do great charity work for them)!

Well, considering I'm twelve myself, and I don't have a job. Their aren't many jobs available for kids our age. So, I have an older sister and she babysits. I usually help her out. And she gives me 15 dollars out of what she got. Because, (believe it or not) were to young to baby sit ( anything can happen that were not prepared for), why would we do a paper route (at our age it's too dangerous to go out alone), and a pet-sitter seems perfect if you ever find one. :)

there's not any real jobs i know of that you can get at 12 but you can try babysitting, if you don't know how to get started with it, try making flyer's and putting them in your neighbors mailboxes to let them know you're available. Also if you think you're too young to babysit, you could be a mothers helper. that's basically just watching the kids while the mom or dad is home so they can get some work done around the house without having to worry about the kids.

Baby sitter if you are responsible. Although I'm not sure I'd let a 12 year old watch my kids...it's worth a shot though.

i don't think 12 year olds are allowed to get jobs that are like, working as a cashier or anything. they're too young. i wouldn't trust them babysitting, since people under 14 nowadays can't be trusted in general.
working on tv.. in the entertainment business works. i did that in middleschool. it was pretty fun... and there's always great food, too.
