Anybody who does piercings for a living or has done it? I am looking to pierce my nose. I had my tongue done by one of my friends who had never pierced anything before, and I had no problems. Is it tru that if you pierce something wrong on your nose you can paralyze your face? I want to get a nose ring and I have the equipment btu not the piercer.

i have had piercings before. I know all the ins and outs of taking care of them cleaning them, stretching them, yadda yadda yadda. Its the process I want to know about. At one tiem I had 17 piercings total. So its really nothing new.

Go to a professional. I have several piercings and tats, I would never have an non-pro do something like that to MY body.
Just ask yourself this question.
Would you go to see a fish doctor to do your labotomy?

I have one and I would say it's worth it to go get it professionally done. Yes certain places on your body, not just your nose you can get paralyzed. You have the risk of infection in your nose which has many veins that run to your brain and if you get an infection it can cause brain damage which is worse than paralyzing so think about that one instead.

F.Y.I. Piercings other than the ears can be dangerous. Although you may wnat to pierce your nose it is probably not the best idea. I don't think if done incorrecly it can paralyze your face however yet, you should most definetly do your research.

Personally, i wouldn't get piercings. maybe u should wait a while and think about if you really do want piercings or not, since they are pretty much permanent. I odnt think you should do it by yourself , definately go to a real piercing parlor/store.

Seriously,
It costs about 45 buxx to get that done at a tatoo shop. Why would you risk an infection or wose..?

u better go to a place where it can be professionally done..yes u could damage ur nose if u have ur friend do it cause they don't know what they r doing.

that could have happened to you by getting you tongue pierced by a nonprofessional and it could happen if you do the same to your nose
