How many of yall who smoke could go cold turkey?

I've gone cold turkey and it's going on my 3rd month!

One of the stupidest things I ever did, and I done a few, was to start smoking.
I've tried cold turkey and couldn't live with myself let alone anyone else.

THERE IS NO WAY FOR ME...CUZ I HAVE SMOKED FOR TOO MANY YRS NOW...BUT SOMEONE WHO ONLY SMOKES TO BE SOCIAL IS STUPID TO START BUT COULD STOP WITH NO PROBLEM...THE MORE YOU SMOKE THE HARDER IT IS GOING TO BE TO STOP......IT'S A BAD NASTY HABIT....IT IS ALMOST LIKE WANTING TO GO ON A DIET OR GIVE UP SOMETHING FOR LENT.(CATHOLIC... EASTER TIME) YOU HAVE TO WANT TO DO IT FOR YOURSELF AND YOU CAN;T LET SOMEONE ELSE TRY TO MAKE YOU DO IT CUZ IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN...I DID QUIT FOR 6 MOS...BUT I HAD SOME TESTS DONE ON MY LUNGS DUE TO THE FACT THAT I WAS ON LIFE SUPPORT FOR 11 MOS..THEY SAID MY LUNGS ARE ONLY ABOUT 40% GOOD NOW SO I SAID THE YAK WITH IT AND STARTED SMOKING AGAIN...IT WAS A COP OUT FOR SURE BUT.THAT'S ME...........

I went cold turkey....it's really not that hard, if you really want to quit.

thats how I did it. because if you quit, then the next day you have a half of cigarette, your body still is getting the nicotene. you have to rid your body of all the nicotene, dont smoke at all when you are quitting. I smoked for 20 yrs and quit 8 yrs ago.
