What's actually US policy in the MIDDLE EAST... especially for ISRAEL?

The thing is, the US and Israel both need each other. Israel is the US's closest ally in the Middle East. They can't afford to lose Israel's friendship, because then they'll lose a major partner. That's why they sell their most advanced military technology to Israel. Israel's military can defeat most of the countries in the Middle East without breaking a sweat. Look at Lebanon!

And the problem for the US is that they have to let Israel do whatever they want. They can't not support Israel because the Israelis will just ditch them and US objectives in the Middle East will be severely set back.

The jewish lobby in the US has hijacked American foreign policy. Part of the problem is that most Americans just don't care that billions of their tax dollars are being siphoned off to Israel every year, enabling Israel to buy weapons to use in their genocidal acts of aggression against the Palestinian people. Israel is the ultimate cause of 99% of all the violence in the Middle East, and US support encourages them to continue. US support of Israel is irrational and detrimental to peace. Part of the problem is that politicians in the US are unwilling to do anything to stem the overwhelming jewish meddling in US policy. It is not politically correct to take a stand against the jews, and it is far easier for politicians to go along with it and let the taxpayers foot the bill.

FACT: I live in New Jersey and it is a fact that EVERY politician running for New Jersey state public office ALWAYS goes to Israel to campaign. What does this tell you? Wake up, America, we are not Israel.

I suspect it goes back to the bible and Israel being God's chosen country. Any country that goes against Israel is doomed to failure according to the bible...Since we are supposedly a nation of christians it would explain our blind support of Israel. As for us policy in the middle east I'm not sure any of the neo-cons have any idea..they seem to go with whatever wild idea happens to pop into their head at any given moment

US policy for the middle east changes from administration to administration. For instance, Bill Clinton went on record stating that he recognizes Palestine as a nation and recognized Araphat as their leader. Bush, however, views the Palestinian movement exclusively as a terrorist organization. Despite the party politics, America will always support the Israelis, for many reasons including religion and military strategy.

Religion, money, and hedging our bets. The US foreign policy towards the Middle East is: protect Israel at all costs. Don't forget, the Rothschilds run it all anyway!

The U.S. supports Israel financially and otherwise because so many of U.S. Jews went to Israel after WWII, they also do their international banking with the States still so the U.S. keeps their ties with their rich citizens who probably still have dual citizenship and their afraid of being called an anti-Semitic country for not helping Israel.

Jews control America. Bush and co. are only front men for the real Zionist Occupation Government. Without U.S. backing, Israel would still only exist in someones imagination.

I wish it were so – that we supported Israel to the extent your question is suggesting. In a region of primitive tribal lunacy, we find a small island of [generally] reasoned people supporting individual rights for all of their citizens, including Muslims. The short answer to your question: a microcosm of freedom, anywhere, deserves some nurturing.

Because Muslims have a deep hatred for Jews... If we just sat back and watched eventually Israel would run out of resources and be slaughtered... again.
