My only Marc Jacobs is my favorite item. I own twenty purses and thirteen are designer but I defenitely prefer Marc Jacobs. I got it at a sample sale for $300. (My sister knows a bunch of people who can get BIG discounts).

My favorite designers for bags are definately Juicy coutre, they are not that expensive but very cute. i would say they are more for the younger crowd, and if i was looking for a very elegant bag i think i would choose Prada. For sunglasses though, i love DG!
