Yes- you can get a yeast infection at any age, and both male and female can get one.

Hello, I'm on the second week and seeing definite improvement on my yeast infection symptoms:

Note that: If the yeast infection doesn't respond to over the counter treatment, prescription medication will likely be necessary. Similarly, if the symptoms return after two months of being treated, you should contact the doctor for professional treatment rather than resorting again to home treatment.

If this is the first time you have experienced a yeast infection, you should schedule an appointment to have the condition treated by a doctor instead of resorting to home treatment

Yes, because yeast infections take on many different forms. its basically a rash that occurs when there has been a prolonged period of wetness. If her son has a yeast infection it probably happened from sitting in a wet bathing suit all day or not getting diapers changed enough. Or he could have thrush in his mouth, which is another form of it.

Yeast infections are not just a feminine nuisance.

Of course. Nothing exotic about it. People get these types of infections sometimes in folds of skin. Antibiotics can predispose people to yeast infection. Thrush is a type that affects the mouth.

First of all I think only women can get them and even so I don't see how anyone that young could get one.
