Maybe Bush understands the true history of the supposed "separation of church and state", and he's not "getting away with anything". He's just doing something that you don't understand. There's an enormous amount of material on the supposed "separation of church and state" stuff, all the way back to the 1700's when our country was forming. Read and become knowledgeable, and you may find you just don't understand what all that nonsensical liberal hoop-la is all about. God Bless you.

OK, I'm puzzled at what you're concerned about. We haven't established a national church that I'm aware of, and no one has been prevented from worshipping in their own way. Presidents throughout history have always expressed religious beliefs, and this has never been interpreted as a conflict with the idea of separation.

Bush has a 3 million man army at his disposal in a time of war. Apparently this gives him the right to break whatever laws he wants.
