Arm and Hammer has a great powder for killing fleas, and their eggs. What you do is sprinkle it all over the effected room and on the furniture and let it sit for about 20 minutes, then vacuum. And vacuum again the next day with the powder still in your vacuum-cleaner bag.

Repeat in about a week, then continuing vacuuming every day or every other day for the next couple of weeks to a month.

If the fleas are coming in from outside, you'll need to find a way to treat your yard for them too.

Good luck!

we have isopropyl alcohol in a spray bottle that we spray every morning. It doesn't seem like it kills that eggs, but it kills the live ones.
