I replaced the starter and checked the ground wire. I also checked the battery terminals, plugs and wires. A little water in the air filter, but engine won't even crank like its got a loose connection? Need help!!!

First of you want to see if any fuses have blown out, if not then check the starter motor relay it should click when you turn the key into the start position. If its not that then it could be damp on the ecu connector but this depends on what car it is. Just find the wiring diagram for the starting and charging and check all the fuses, relays and connections. It could also be that you have shorted out the alternator which would then draw all the power away from the starter.

IF you have water in the air filter YOU might want to pull out ALL the spark plugs & try cranking it over.IF a Cylinder is full of water the engine WILL NOT tyrn over ! MAKE sure there is no water in the engine oil-Transmission & rearend.IF it has a distributor spray WD-40 or PB Blaster in the Distributor Cap.Saltwater can zap a battery.Check your voltage.
