if your close to turning 16 some fast food places will hire you.

Most places of business will not hire you year round until you are 16. For the summer, sometimes places like Dairy Queen will hire younger than 16. What are you good at? If you know how to fix computers, mow lawns, shovel snow, run errands, wash cars, etc., you could keep fairly busy until you become 16. Good luck.

Telemarketing usually takes young folks. The hours are like 6-9pm Mon-Fri and 9am-12 on Saturday. It can be surveys, getting donations for charity or phone sales. Of course the sales pays better, but the other stuff gets you the experience. I thought it was less back breaking than bussing tables.
