Muhammad didn't write a book either.
His followers did. A student will find their teacher. What they do with what they have been taught is entirely out of the hands of the teacher.
The opposite of sin is good deeds. You would get "brownie points" for doing good things, if you did them solely to do them, not for the brownie points, duh. Karma works in funny ways, and if you seek good fortune, and go work the local soup kitchen just to have that good fortune, then you have naught but soupy hands, and unclean kindness. Try going to the soup kitchen to see how many people are hungry- and how you can help, regardless of the fact that you have bad luck, or bad karma, or just a bad outlook on life in general, and once you have sown the seeds of rewardless good deeds, God,dess will see to it that you get your blessings times 3! You do get karmic points for being good, if it's for good's sake. Blessed be, my confused friend.
Signed, that same pagan, who only wishes people would WAKE UP!!!!

You can get "brownie" points for being good. In some Christian religions, a good, decent person, doing acts of mercy and charity will be rewarded. (Like extra credit). But, these acts should be done out of charity, not for points.
Jesus used parables to teach the masses. As you probably know, not everyone could read and write. Jesus told stories/parables to teach lessons. These lessons are still applicable today.
One does not have to write a book to be important. The impression one leaves with others is based on actions and decisions, not necessarily on books one has written.
Jesus lived his life as a Jew. He died a Jew. He used the books of the Old Testament to teach his lessons.
He is not a fake. He did not try to be something he wasn't. He lived a good, decent life. He told his followers to avoid sin and to forgive the offenses of others. You can do this, too, can't you?

The opposite of sin is perfection. You are not perfect. Does one get points for bad, negative, evil???? Whatever your answer is to THAT, the opposite also exists!
